i woke up with a seriously bad sore throat): drank like abt four bottles of water in total for today? haha yep. today had foot drills! quite funny haha. cos christine was late!(as usual) then we were marching then yee wen say hurry! let's march there and back! so tt she can fall in! haha so all of a sudden we marched super fast! i was laughing by the time we reached back to christine. i was like behind everyone haha. was funny though! then today it was gonna rain...still had morning jog. the indoor route that is! dun rly like. even though half the time we were cheating haha.(:
after tt was chi compo test. think i'll fail it...i wrote crap lah! haiz...ok then after tt was music lesson! i dread it lah...cos it was HIM. blah. he suaned me today! at the start of the lesson he take the namelist and call our names. then he comes to me.
him: natalie?me: (stands up and stares at him) yes?him: you look familiar! are you in band? playing the bassoon?me: duh! pretty obvious right.--'''him: michelle!(michelle stands up)him: oh. so unlike michelle.(in my mind thinking that he most likely meant michelle lee my senior...)*after a while*him: chung siting!(pronounced as sitting on purpose)me: (rolls eyes at him and everyone laughs)*after a while again*(listen to him talking abt the music enrichment assessment)him: and natalie will not be playing the keyboard. she will play something else. the piano.me: huh?! why only me? it's not like i'm the only who knows music!him: oh really? then who else?me: (points to rachael)him: oh ok! then those with musical background will play the piano.(another part which i forgot was when)him: anyway, i_______the double reeds, except for tiffany.(don't rmb wad he said)me: cos you suan tiffany first!him: no is she that started it.me: yeah right...him: were you here last year?me: no. so?him: so you don't know the true story.me: --'''(to the part where he was talking about major and minor scales)him: now i shall demostrate the major scale.and he played like super duper fast. haha everyone said he was showing off! which is very true haha. and then...POOR ME GOT SABO-ED.him: ok now i will let siting demostrate the minor scale.me: don't call me that!him: ok fine natalie. go up and play.me: why me?!everyone: *starts clapping*me: fine! (walks over to the piano) which minor scale do you want me to play?him: any scale. no wait, play E flat minor. at the same speed as me.me: SIAO HOW TO PLAY AT YOUR SPEED?!everyone: *starts laughing...*me: (plays E flat minor. WITH NO MISTAKE IN HIS FACE.)everyone: *claps loudly!*me: (walk back and hears her say very good--''' and i rolled my eyes)i have a feeling she has no idea what grade i am haha. she was like very good. almost like i was scared to go up. ok actually i was. i was freaking out wondering if i would play wrongly. and i didnt! so i'm quite happy. bleh but he still suaned me. so yeah not nice.haha then had band today miss sia wasnt here. instead it was mr ong. haha we sec1s no need to combine!((: haha ok then set up instru and seniors came in early today. shocking to mag and me haha. then after tt finish berato-ing for the seniors then they come in. and one clarinetist ask michelle and me if we needed new reeds and next moment she was like so hyper haha. conversation went something like this.
clarinet person: oh hey do your two need new reeds?michelle: yes yes we need! we're getting new reeds? from who?clarinet person: oh from mr ong. you're suppose to go look for him.michelle: oh ok! where is he?!clarinet person: i think he's at the forum.michelle: ok let's go now!me: haha ok...(both of us walk out together)me: hey that reply was from you right?michelle: haha of course lah!me: oh so what do you mean by your reputation is at stake?michelle: isn't it quite obvious?me: just because you're my senior?michelle: yah lah! but seriously, you must practice hard.me: haha okok i will.michelle: oh yes we're finally getting new reeds! hahaha i'm so happy.me: it's only new reeds what. and you don't even need them! you have like...6?michelle: yah but still...it's new reeds! but actually i want to go and see how bad the reeds are.me: --'''michelle: oh look i can see mr ong haha. hello mr ong!me: oh hello mr ong.mr ong: oh yes you need the reeds right?michelle: yeah how many did you bring?mr ong: i only brought two.michelle: oh then where are they?mr ong: i gave it to one saxophonist girl already.michelle: (says oh shit silently to me) oh then where is she? is she sec 3?mr ong: i can't remember. just go look for her. the reeds are with her.(after a while we leave mr ong)michelle: oh no...where are our reeds?me: (sees a girl pointing at us) oh i think the reeds are with that girl!and we both start walking them and there's a part with water.michelle: how are we gonna walk across?me: just walk lah!and the girl gives us our reeds! haha then michelle sort of snatched it from me and was like.michelle: let me see...how to open the case? oh ok haha see i'm so smart!me: haha whatever lah! i also can open loh.michelle: (looks at the yellow reed first) haha the yellow one looks nicer. let's see...look! it's chipped already. haiz...so sad. the red one also! see!me: wah...that bad! so lousy):michelle: haha yeah. let's go wet our reeds! i wanna try them out. too bad only got two reeds. he should have brought more.haha ok then we walk to the water-cooler to wet our reeds. but seriously lah! it was quite badly done. the reeds i mean. but it's playable.michelle: (wets the reeds and trys them) ok still can blow. haha the red one seems better. but never mind.me: haha and i thought you wanted the yellow one...melissa comes and michelle was like hey mel! haha then talk loh. quite funny cos was like...melissa wanted to touch the reed and michelle didnt allow. she wanted to blow too. michelle of course dun allow lah haha. then she say only if you let me try your reed. but clarinet reed cannot be blown on! unless with the instru haha so it was kinda funny cos michelle was like oh yeah. and then laugh haha then she said. i can blow oboe reed also!--''' haha i think i also can anw i tried before too((: then they walk back alrdy. and we were alrdy walking back.michelle: haha we don't have to go back so fast. can slack a bit. let's sit down.me: haha ok.haha then we started talking loh. i talked abt the music lesson. and i talked about the part where got call her name.me: haha yah then today got music lesson and he went through the namelist and when he called michelle's name...michelle: huh? call me for what?me: no lah i meant my class the michelle. he was like so not unlike the michelle i know. and i was thinking is he referring to you?!michelle: haha you sure or not. got a lot of michelles loh! i tell you ah, in the whole world got a lot of michelles may not be me.haha ok then we talk somemore. was quite fun and then a teacher walked past. the new teacher mr adrian wong! haha also happens to be brenda's form teacher.michelle: ugh i don't like him.haha then we started talking abt him...and she demostrated how he walked! as in rly stand up and show haha was so funny! and then we talked somemore before going back...and michelle was like haha we got new reeds! the whole trip she was laughing lah haha and was so happy abt getting new reeds. haha then tiffany was like no fair! we're more in need of reeds. which is quite true haha mag also said the same thing.ok then tried the reeds. can play lah haha i took the red one and michelle took the yellow one. then after we practiced for a while she said let's go wet our reeds. i was like again? and i didnt noe if i was supposed to follow until she told me to put down my instru. so ok loh go out again haha.
then her reed case no more space...then she ask me which one looked nice. she immediately said the white one is nice right? haha then blahblahblah in the end she did throw away lah...after deciding haha and she kept moping for a while. in a bit of whiny tone which was funny.
then tiffany wanted to go home. kept begging michelle while natalie was lecturing her. then in the end michelle said no. haha then i laughed. dunno lah cos it was a funny scene.((: then there was one point tiffany ask me if i wanted to take bassoon lessons. she scold me say i am so lazy. say i must be like mag. haha i rolled my eyes at her...
tiffany: do you want to take bassoon lessons?me: i don't know.tiffany: what if they were free?me: haha i don't know.haha but seriously i rly dunno. mag was like dun take. then after tt i saw michelle say something...i have a feeling tiffany meant her teacher which is mr trevor sze. i dunno lah. actually i feel like taking...then i can be better! cos now i'm like super lousy. i dunno...and i'm scared tt if nxt yr i have junior. MY JUNIOR WILL TAKE MEP AND BE BETTER THAN ME. i'm very very scared.and it's like there'll be this pressure. DO YOU KNOW HOW SUCKY IT FFEELS TO BE COMPARED WITH OTHERS?! seriously i dun like it. ppl think i'm lazy. but hello? maybe it's cos i rly dun hv the time. with all the hw i cant possibly jus chuck it away what. and i do like bassoon tt wasnt a lie ok! ugh sometimes i wish i didnt hv to be in this sch. all the things here are hard. and hard to get gd grades. i wish i can jus not go to sch sometimes it sucks so much
but when i think abt the ppl i see around me...i feel tt it's not so bad after all. like in band...i guess sometimes it is fun. oh well i dunno
